Pagieyourboy, a well known face on the London scene and he has brought us a quality EP. 3 tracks which emulate his sound.
The title track is an absolute classic, if someone told you this was made in the 90’s you’d have no reason not to believe them. Classic vocals and a satisfying bassline with a vintage House beat and percussion make this track perfect for mid set to raise the vibe or at the end of the night to get everyone locked arm in arm telling each other that they love them.
‘Bounce’ carries on the vibe but on a more serious note, its slightly darker and will make you want to put your hood up and get down. The bassline melody carries this track and the breakdown provides a breakbeat Garage feel dropping with subtle keys which keep things interesting.
‘The Sound’… Another track which gives us an insight into the roots of Pagieyourboy sound, crisp percussion with a leading bassline but this time with pitched vocals providing a unique experience.
A quality EP from an up and coming artist you should certainly keep your eye on.
