We’ve been huge fans of mixed martial arts, since watching the first UFC contest in 1994. The godfather and creator of the UFC Royce Gracie won that competition and the next contest the following year. In later years the UFC switched hands and took a new direction with Dana White. The weekly series the Ultimate Fighter brought fighters from all over the world together in one household. Sixteen fighters enter the house and only one wins a contract to fight with the UFC. Dozens of UFC champions came up through the contest and to later become King of the Hill. The latest TV series features the Heavy Hitters with team leaders Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum. Two extremely capable athletes from different sides of the world. Both fighters went through the system and won the competition themselves. Two divisions are featured with both male and female competitors. A new episode is screened every Wednesday in the states so catch the latest bouts anyway you can.
