Stik Produces Digital Artwork for Young Westminster Foundation
Street artist Stik has collaborated with the Young Westminster Foundation to produce a digital mural for the largest public screen in Europe. As Londoners the screens in Piccadilly are etched into our consciousness. As tourists the West End location presents a perfect British photo opportunity. Traditionally speaking the screens are usually occupied by large brands with huge budgets. Stik has become a powerhouse for raising funds earmarked for local communities or international charities. Choosing to raise far more money for worthy causes than he actually generates for himself. In the last few years alone his artwork has generated hundreds of thousands of pounds for local people. He doesn’t make a song and dance about it either. Stik has been raising capital for locals since we first met him in 2008. Once established on the international stage, he continued the great work and shares this platform with the world. It gives us a sense of pride to see him reach out and pull everyone up with him. Selfless, courageous and generous are but a few words to describe the softly spoken urban knight.
